Behavior Support Consultants
Part-time Independent Contractor
Flexible Schedule.
$85-110 per hour
LPCC, LPAT, LCSW, LISW, LMFT, or LMHC

Please note, this Independent Contractor position starts as Part-Time with the potential to grow your clientele to Full-time.

A Behavior Support Consultant (BSC) encourages and empowers independence, possibilities, and opportunities for individuals with Intellectual Developmental Disorders. As a BSC, you will provide skill building exercises focusing on the individual’s needs and create strategies to help when challenging behaviors arise. You will assess individuals initially and annually and create treatment plans. You will meet with individuals and their service providers on your caseload for regularly scheduled sessions, team meetings, and you will conduct trainings on your treatment plans. Must have completed a master's level graduate program and hold a LMHC, LPCC, LPAT, LMFT, LCSW, or LISW. One year working with individuals in this population preferred. Supervision provided by a licensed designated supervisor for LMHCs.

A positive, confident, competent, creative personality is a must along with strong organizational skills and flexibility. Additional compensation for bilingual candidates.
Further responsibilities include:
o Complete Progress notes after each session with individuals/providers.
o Deadlines must be met for paperwork and billing submission.
o Respond to emails, text messages, and phone calls in a timely manner.
o Communicate with team members and attend team meetings.
o Completion of Developmental Disabilities Services Division (DDSD) required trainings.
o Follow all DDSD standards and comply with all applicable Federal and New Mexico state laws and regulations, and all policies and procedures set forth by the Medicaid Waiver Program.
